This Little Piggy by Stampin' Up! for #GDP084 Challenge

Hi Everyone

Thank you for stopping by today. I am sharing my card that I am entering to the Global Design Project #GDP084 Case the Designer challenge. This week, we are casing the very talented Michelle Last and her project below

I have admired Michelle's projects for a while now and have even CASEd a few for our class and displays. For this challenge, I have taken the embossed background, layering frames and water coloured image to use for my entry.

This Little Piggy is a new stamp set which I won on Prize Patrol at #onstage2017 live in Amsterdam earlier this month where I also saw Michelle demonstrate another new product from the upcoming Annual Catalogue.

Card base: 14.8cm x 29.6cm
Pear Pizzazz cardstock 14.3cm x 10cm embossed with Petal Burst Textured Impressions Folder
This Little Piggy stamped on Whisper White card with Basic Black Archival Stampin' Pad
Use Chocolate Chip, Basic Grey and Calypso Coral Watercolour Pencils for the pig, Daffodil Delight for the daisy and Old Olive for the grass and leaf
Add texture on the pig by dabbing/pouncing the side of your Blender Pens
Silver emboss the sentiment on a banner
Embellish with Jewel Basic Rhinestone, Gold Natural Trim Ribbon and 1 strand from Burlap Ribbon

Pop over to the Global Design Project site - HERE to check out the Design Team's beautiful creations and join in. Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time, BYEEEEE

Stampin' with Birthday Bright for #CC&S219

Hi Everyone

Thank you for stopping by today where I am sharing a Clean and Simple (CAS) card design using Birthday Bright by Stampin' Up!®

These projects were inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches Colour Challenge #CC&S219 using the following colours:

The other products used are a mixture of retired, discontinued and current Stampin' Up! items. I am also trying to use more Designer Series Paper (DSP) on my projects recently to use up what we have in our stash.

The star is placed where it is as I made a mistake and marked the DSP. I think I saved this card alright.

Kraft card base is 14.8cm x 29.6cm
Designer Series Paper (DSP) topper 9.5cm x 13.8cm
Stamp with Gorgeous Grunge in Old Olive at the bottom left and top right
Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment in black Memento on the bottom right
Use the  Balloon Bouquet Punch on Thick Whisper White and Tip Top Taupe card
Use Clear Wink of Stella on the punched balloons
Stamp the strings and adhere the balloons on the top right with Tip top Taupe on Dimensionals
The Mint Macaron Glimmer dots and stars were punched using Owl Builder and Itty Bitty

Here is an even simpler card using Birthday Bright with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies:
Stamp Gorgeous Grunge with Old Olive at the centre of the DSP
Die cut the 2nd smallest Square Stitched Framelit
Stamp 'Big' in Memento Black and 'wish' in Tip Top Taupe
Add the Mint Macaron Glimmer dots and heart (punched from Owl Builder)

Check out the cards from the CC&S Design Team as well as others participating on this colour challenge #CC&S219. Thanks again for stopping by, until next time BYEEEEE

Swaps for #onstage2017 ~ Card Holder

Hi Everyone

I had a great time at #onstage2017 live in Amsterdam the other week with Queen Pip, The Royal Stampers, Stampin' Stars and other independent demonstrators from across the globe!

We got to preview the new Annual Catalogue 2017-2018, share ideas by swapping projects and be inspired by presentations and display boards.

You may have already seen the Night of Navy version of my swap on my #GDP081 Colour Challenge post ~ HERE which I have updated to include a quick description of how I achieved effects on my card fronts. Below are the rest of my swaps in different colours:

I also wanted a 3D swap that is useful for demonstrators to use at parties and craft fairs, which can house small treats because who doesn't love a swap with chocolates?!?!?

Time was running out so I wanted something quick and easy when I came across Easy Origami Card Stand Tutorial on Pinterest by Chrissy Pk - see HERE

I altered the measurements to make the most of our Designer Series Papers (DSP) as well as adding the front design. Check out my video tutorial on how you can make your own card holder:

If you were there, you might have seen me shaking a pink pom pom and singing #shakeyourpompom with the rest of the Royal Stampers! Such fun but maybe annoying for some hehe.

I'm actually quite shy to approach people on my own so please forgive me if I didn't say hi. Swapping projects did give me more confidence and everyone were so lovely.

Below are the swaps and gifts I received, thanks to everyone that swapped with me:

Thanks for stopping by and I hope my swaps have inspired you today. Until next time, BYEEEEE
